Boone Bike Initiative Joins ArtCrawl
Friday, March 7th
Beginning in March we shall be opening the shop for the monthly, first-Friday-of-the-month ArtCrawl! Stop by our shop to meet our kind volunteers! Maybe you're looking for some information about local events, including rides, commuter routes, or simply tips on staying warm and dry while riding during these winter months. Applications for our bike rental program shall also be available and staff will be around to help you with any questions you may have.
Have something for sale or for trade? Maybe a bicycle-specific service to offer? Post it on our community corkboard! There is also a great possibility for free food or drink, compliments of local businesses!
Official 'Bike to Work/School Day'
Thursday, April 3rd
Whether you do it every day or haven't yet dared to try, take this day to bike to school/work! Get a little more fit, save some petrol, and meet your neighbors! Although details are still in the works, BBI shall be supporting riders in various locations.
There is a rain date set for April 10th, but don't let a little (or a lot of) rain scare you off!
